Tom x Tord - A Thousand Years

Tom opened his eyes, his face feeling a bit hot. He got up from bed and dug through his closet. He picked out his normal blue hoodie, black jeans, and checkered shoes, got dressed, and walked downstairs. "I have to confess to him... today's Valentine's Day for fuck's sake!", Tom thought. He sighed as he ate his breakfast. He went up to the bathroom and combed his hair out and brushed his teeth, then left for the front door with his black bookbag over his shoulder and guitar case in his hand. He tossed his bag into the car and drove off to his school.

Tom parked his car in the parking lot and got his guitar and bookbag, and walked to the auditorium, waiting for his chance to confess to Tord. In song. "Now, please welcome Thomas Ridgewell to the stage.", the student announced in the podium's microphone, and stepped back stage. Tom nervously walked up stage with his guitar. "I'd like to dedicate this song... to Tord.", Tom said and started to play 'A Thousand Years' by Christina Perri, and sang the lyrics. His singing voice caused the audience to be in shock, for they have never heard him sing before, it was beautiful. "Heart beats fast. Colors and promises. How to be brave. Tord glared and walked up onto stage and joined in singing with Tom, turning red as he did so. "Time stands still. Beauty in all she is. Tom slid his eyes closed, wrapped his arms around his neck, kissing back gently. The audience exploded into cheers. Tom pulled back, smiling. "Happy Valentine's Day, Tord.", Tom whispered. "Happy Valentine's Day indeed.", he replied.
